    Length of Schooling: 4 years

    Admission only available in Fall Semester, opening in September

    Chinese Proficiency Requirements and Entrance Examination

    1. Programs in Hongkou Campus :

    Chinese Language majors require applicants have new HSK grade 4 (total score: 180) or have one semester\'s full-time Chinese training in Chinese university. Those, with new HSK grade 5 and one year\'s full-time Chinese training in university, may be enrolled as a sophomore, and applicants need to take a Chinese Proficiency Test Examination provided by College of International Cultural Exchange.

    Completion of Program

    Diploma and Certificate of Bachelor\'s Degree will be issued to those who have completed the undergraduate program with qualified academic standing.

    Fees (in RMB)

    1) Admission Fee: 4,000 RMB (only for newcomers)
    2) Tuition: 20,500 RMB /Year
    3) Teaching Material Fee: 500 RMB /Year(only for the programs in Hongkou Campus)
    4) Management Fee: 680 RMB /Year
    5) Insurance: about 600 RMB /Year
    The students of programs in Songjiang Campus pay the same teaching material fee as Chinese students. Tuition and any other fees are not refundable once they have been paid to SISU.

    1) The financial support and custody may be student\'s parents or relatives in Shanghai.

- Requirement
  1. Non-Chinese citizens;
  2. Senior high school graduates;
  3. Over 18 and under 40 years old;
  4. In good health;
  5. With reliable financial support and custody.
  6. Applicants must have Chinese proficiency of New HSK level 4 (a total of no less than 180) or one semester's full-time Chinese training at any Chinese university. Those with New HSK level 4 (a total of no less than 240) may be enrolled to start from the second semester of the first year. Those, with New HSK level 5 (a total of no less than 195) and one year's full-time Chinese training at any Chinese university, may be enrolled as sophomores. Students, who have an experience of 2- year or -above Chinese training at any Chinese university and Chinese proficiency of New HSK level 6 (a total of no less than 180), may be enrolled as juniors.

5. High school graduate certificate

Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.

6. Certificate of HSK or Certificate of Chinese language education

Applicants who want to be enrolled as a sophomore or junior in Chinese Language majors shall submit the certificate of full-time Chinese training and academic record in original or notarized copy in English or Chinese, or Certificate of HSK
