2017 Chinese Language and Culture Program
- General Information

    Program Introduction

    Chinese Language and Culture Program (CLCP) is organized to enhance overseas students' Chinese language capabilities and increase their understanding about Chinese culture and society.

    【Courses】

    • - Language courses (20 class hours per week) Students will take a placement test at the first class, and be assigned to an appropriate class according to their Chinese proficiency level. Each class is usually composed of 15-20 students.
    • - Cultural courses (8 class hours per week) Taiji, Calligraphy, Seal Cutting, Chinese Traditional Opera, Chinese Songs, Chinese Painting, etc.
    • - Approaching China (12 class hours per week) Learn about the development of Chinese society and deepen understanding of Chinese history and culture.
    • - Experience Chinese Culture Beijing Opera, Acrobatics Show, Kong Fu Show, Chinese Movie Watching, etc.
    • - Off-campus tour (1 day per week) Visits to historical places in Beijing, such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven, Hutong, 798 Art Zone, etc.

All applicants should be over 16 years old, and will be assigned to an appropriate class according to their Chinese proficiency level.

3. Certificate/diploma of highest education

Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.

4. Academic transcript of highest education

Academic transcript in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.

5. Transfer Certificate issued by the host university

The applicants who are studying at another university in China must submit a Transfer Certificate issued by the host university.

6. Passport photo

A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant

  • Step 3: Submit documents and wait for result and admission documents (including admission letter, visa letter)
