- General Information

    1. Training Goal

    Editor Notes: This program cultivate students to be professionals in Business Administration.

    • To train international students with high moral, good health, good knowledge and innovative spirit.
    • Be able to engage in various fields of marketing, marketing management, senior international corporate marketing and global marketing.

    2. Program Introduction

    Editor Notes: This program aims to cultivate students to be professionals in this field.

    • Have a good knowledge of Chinese culture, politics, economy and history.
    • Understanding Chinese language, including in listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translation proficiently.
    • To master the necessary computer skills.
    • Have the ability of the basic theory of economics, business management, marketing and international business, the basic knowledge and skills.
    • To master certain analytical ability, creativity and decision-making ability.

    3. Program Structure

    Editor Notes: Each student must complete 54 credits of courses including 36 compulsory, 18 elective and 8 for a practicum requirement.

    4. Academic Semesters

    Editor Notes: There are 3 semesters in one academic year: fall, spring and summer. Fall and spring semesters consist of 14 weeks of normal classes and a summer term consists of 8 weeks of classes (except Practicum and Internship).

    • Fall Semester: the end of August to the middle of December.
    • Spring Semester: the end of January to the end of May.
    • Summer Term: the beginning of June to the end of July.

    Note: The course requires students to pay the tuition or admission deposit before issuing the admission package.

    5. Thesis

    Editor Notes: In the fourth year of their study, students must complete a thesis related to their major to meet the graduation requirements.

    • ​ The thesis should consists of about 8000 words.
    • The thesis shall be an assessment on the intended level of achievement both in the major and the general learning outcomes by the students.
    • Students should apply their learning to complex, unscripted problems in the context of their advanced studies, the mastery of the skills.
    • Students should use the ability to integrate knowledge and skills and present their work in an appropriate manner.​

    6. Internship and Career Development

    Editor Notes: The program will cultivate students with professional skills to function effectively and competitively in social and global environment.

    • The university participates actively in promoting business and economic cooperation between China and other countries.
    • Students have the opportunities to do a part-time job or internship at the multinational or other big companies with various fields.
    • Students can search on school website to find a good job, as lots of companies post their recruitment advertisement on the website.
    • Students can either stay in China or return to their own countries to work for the company who have trade with China.
    • Students can work in the sales of products or services and management, such as sales representatives, sales managers, sales consultants.
    • Students can be suitable in circulation enterprises, production-oriented enterprises, the service sector and other industries engaged in marketing, research, planning or other management.

    7. School introduction

    Editor Notes: UIBE is one of the important stations for talents' training and scientific research on Chinese economic and business development.

    • The University has established exchange projects with over 100 universities and institutes from more than 30 countries and regions around the world.​

    • The School focuses on training business management talents with an international strategic vision.
    • There are over 41 professional teachers and part-time teachers in this major.

    Research area : cross-national Management & Operation, Strategic Management, Innovation and Corporate Theory.
    Teaching area: (bachelor) principles of management, international business management, research methods and thesis writing; (master, including MBA) teaching management theory, strategic management, mergers and acquisitions and restructuring; (doctor) management theory.

    Shao Jing, Professor of Management; postdoctoral (The University of British Columbia)

    Research area: supply chain management, game theory application, operating and marketing fields
    Teaching area: principle of management

5. Academic transcript of High School

Academic transcript in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.

6. Certificate/diploma of High School

Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.

7. A copy of guarantor’s passport or ID
